Elkmont Ghost Town Day Hike

More than fireflies - Elkmont was once a booming logging community and then a summer vacation home hotspot. Now a ghost town remains that can be toured with a Park Ranger. From the NPS:

• Every Saturday Weekly from 06/14/2014 to 08/09/2014
• Location: Meet behind Elkmont Campground Entrance Station | Map
• Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
• Fee Information: Free
• Take a morning stroll with a ranger to  learn about Elkmont when it was a turn-of-the century logging boomtown.
