Some of Pigeon Forge's biggest crowds every year are drawn into town for the Rod Runs. Old and new, road-worn and shining, Fords, Chevies, GMCs, GoldWings, and many more, line the streets of Pigeon Forge, filling every spot within range of the Parkway. The trek to the Smoky Mountains for these annual car shows, for buying and selling and admiring and parading, is a huge event, drawing thousands of car enthusiasts every year. 2014 marks the first year that some of the Rod Runs will be held at the beautiful new Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge.
